Very nice cafe. Friendly service. The selection of cakes was very plentiful and tasty.

Ms. Siegmund greeted us in a very friendly manner, she recognized us straight away. The friendly service made us feel very comfortable.

We went to eat there today with the family. It was very crowded, but luckily there was just a place available for us. There was even a high chair for our youngest. The staff was also very friendly and to the children too. We had ordered cheesecake and chocolate cake. A children's portion of ice cream for the little ones. Everything was very delicious. The coffee too.

Top selection, super delicious! That made my stay in the already beautiful Wernigerode even sweeter ... I would love to come back.

A must in Wernigerode ... This institution in a house from the 16th century is a must to visit. OK - the warmth of the staff is at best friendly and experienced, but this can also happen to you in a coffee house in Vienna. So no point deduction because of the authenticity 😁 Coffee and cake as well as the ambience can be assessed as very good without restrictions - and that's exactly why you go there ...

A really lovely place. Beautiful half-timbered houses. There is something to discover on every path. For example the smallest house, a crooked house or sculptures.

Nice little café in the middle of downtown Wernigerode. Little seating outside. Very tasty pies and cakes. We had a piece of cheesecake and house cake, both very tasty, there was a star suit for the unfortunately very unfriendly lady behind the counter, the man who served us tried hard.

Good coffee, several tasty cakes. But staff really are not friendly to tourists. And that in the middle of a tourist city. In Corona time, a distinction is made between the tourist with everything full and the German speaking customer, please wait a moment, when there is no table available.

Don’t have to much to say about this place, the ice coffee was normal and they have tasty scoops for a good price in comparison to other places, but the people that work there are not friendly at all, they make you week not welcome and to go away, like if you where bothering.

Super delicious cakes and tarts, as well as great coffee and cocoa specialties in a wonderful atmosphere with very friendly service. Definitely recommended and worth a visit, especially at coffee time. Price / performance is top.

Good cake, but they don't know what an americano is

This is a wonderful place, well worth a visit. Been a Cafe Wein on the same site since 1500s. Burnt down a few times because like most of Wernigerode it's a half timber building. Wonderful selection of their own cakes. On a cold day a bowl of their wild mushroom soup will warn you up.

Café Wien in Wernigerode is a small, fine café. The family café offers great coffee, delicious cakes and cookies. Also breakfast is offered. Everything in peace and with much friendliness. If you still want to enjoy cake and coffee with the peace and quiet, please stop in time. Closing time 5:00 pm. We like to come over and just turn down a gear. ☕
